Interestingly, my three children and I spent 3 years in french-speaking Belgium when they were younger. I well remember the fatigue that comes from speaking and understanding a foreign language, so I sympathise completely. In my experience, there was a time initially when the children tended to withdraw and not to participate - but then the language came in a great rush and they were speaking with ease! It didn't work quite that easily for me though! I always felt tired after a conversation!

Hello, Just thought I'd take this opportunity of saying how very pleased I am at the stories I have so far purchased. My son adores them, listening to them most nights once he's in bed (after a read-to story aswell). He especially likes to listen to them at the moment because he's at a French school where he's concentrated in French all day, and as his first language is English, he can listen to the stories without having to concentrate so hard.
